Conference 2004 in New Liskeard Ontario was an exceptional weekend of renewing friendships, starting new ones, and a time to reflect on our need to keep balance in our lives. In addition to completing the mandatory MBC business during the AGM, MBC was able to share the launching of this new website with all its incredible new features, including the volunteer training site and MBC Forums.

Throughout the weekend the delegates were treated to great meals, good times, lots of laughter, along with wonderful workshops and speakers. In addition we were always surrounded by both beautiful scenery and people in New Liskeard, and in the surrounding areas. The one very obvious component that likely only a smaller town could provide, was the community spirit, support and involvement in bringing together a fabulous conference.

Our thanks to Temiskaming Multiple Births, the Conference Committee and the surrounding community together did a fabulous job at hosting this year’s conference and for making us all feel so incredibly welcome to the beautiful shores of Lake Temiskaming.
