December 2005 Board Activity
Report is intended to inform MBC members of work performed by the Board of
Directors on behalf of all multiple-births individuals, families and supporters
in Canada. It does not include the
many activities coordinated in the business office by our Business Services
Manager or the many worthwhile projects currently being handled by our valuable
national volunteers.

a board meeting on MSN to discuss ongoing business

Finalized
the Chapter Affiliate Renewal letter
·
Finalized
the 2005 Volunteer Development Retreat Report
·
Liaised
with Conference 2006 on programming and Trillium grant
assistance
·
Obtained
quotes from eight printers for printing a new potential format for the Multiple
Moments magazine.
·
Reviewed
and updated postings on website forums
·
Corresponded
with providers of two major national fundraising opportunities to finalize plans
for MBC’s participation with their programs
·
Worked
with a non-member group to update their executive on MBC initiatives and discuss
potential options to aid in their decision to rejoin MBC
·
Discussed
options and methods for encouraging all non-member groups to return to
MBC.
·
Received
and reviewed responses to the EI survey sent out to MBC members
·
Began
planning for the Dionne and new Media Making a Difference Awards
·
Handled
all MBC correspondence and requests for assistance from MBC
