Beach, ON:
The MBC Board of Directors sends its congratulations to the Chatham-Kent
Multiple Births Association. This
hard-working group of volunteers received news in December that the Ontario
Trillium Foundation is financially supporting the MBC 2006 National Annual
Conference and AGM. The grant of
$17,800 has been forwarded to Chatham-Kent to be used for speakers and promotion
of the conference.
With
this infusion of monetary support, the organizing committee has stepped up its
organizational efforts for this year’s event. Plowing thru Parenthood, May
25-28, features a three-day delegate program and a professional program on
Friday afternoon.
The
delegate program

The professional program (designed to
educate and inform the professionals who support our families)

This
short overview only touches on the full program planned for delegates of
2006. We encourage you to pull out
your schedule from the Quarterly Issue 4, 2005 of Multiple Moments or click
here to get details from the MBC website.
The
all-inclusive delegate program early bird special is $150 for MBC members, $200
for non-members. Early Bird
deadline is March 15, 2006.
Make
sure you are in Chatham to enjoy the fun and learning with your peers-other
parents of multiple-birth children and chapter volunteers! You won’t regret it!
