URGENT – Time Sensitive - Last Call for MBC Silicone ‘Support’ Bracelets

Wasaga Beach, ON:  Multiple Births Canada (MBC) is pleased to provide ongoing updates to its members, chapters and colleagues.  Your commitment to Supporting Multiple Births Together is of great importance to Canada’s multiple-birth community.

Chapter Representatives:  Please forward the information below to your Chapter Executive asap.

Please be aware, this IC requires your immediate attention. In early March the Board of Directors presented the idea of ordering silicone bracelets as an awareness and fundraising opportunity for Canada’s multiple-birth community.  If this is your first time hearing about this initiative, details are listed below.  The goal was and is to get a combined order commitment of at least 1,000 bracelets by March 31, 2006.

Currently we have orders for 300 bracelets.  Since the deadline cannot be extended due to delivery timelines, it is hoped that more chapters will confirm their commitment to this awareness and fundraising project this week.

BRACELET DETAILS:

Cost per bracelet is $2, plus a small shipping and handling fee.

The debossed words “Supporting Multiple Births Together” will be on the outside of the burgundy bracelet.  The inside of the bracelet will promote the Canadian access to multiple-birth resources “www.multiplebirthscanada.org”, which includes referrals to your chapter.

Chapters who have already placed orders plan to use the bracelets in a few different ways, including:

The silicone bracelet is being used by many Canadian organizations to unite and promote their cause.  Men, women and youngsters of all ages are wearing these popular wristbands as a way to identify and connect with others.  It’s a fun and easy way to get to know people in the multiple-birth community when you’re visiting other cities.

If your chapter is interested, please send an email with your order to office@multiplebirthscanada.org ASAP.
