Time Sensitive Response Needed - re National Multiple Births Awareness Day
Wasaga Beach, ON:
Chapter Representatives:
Please forward the information below to your Chapter Executive and volunteers.
PLEASE RESPOND TO THE QUESTIONS AT THE
BOTTOM OF THIS MESSAGE – Thank you!
National Multiple Births Awareness Day is
Fast Approaching!!!
MBC applauds
the chapters who have indicated an interest in holding the event simultaneously
with sister chapters across Canada on Saturday, May 28th. It will be thrilling to imagine our
multiple-birth community celebrating coast to coast at the same time!
To synchronize
your event so that all chapters are speaking to the media, referencing this
year’s theme, at the same time, we need you to plan around these times:
This is OUR
opportunity to create awareness of the many challenges and unique issues faced
by multiple-birth individuals and their families. In 2005 we will focus on a need for dialogue on current
parental benefits for new multiple-birth parents. This is your chance to add voice to the discussion while
creating awareness for your chapter within your community.
To assist you
in the planning and delivery of your local event, MBC has developed an event
planner package leading you through the steps, making it easier for your
chapter to organize something special on May 28th. Your event need not be big; it can be
as uncomplicated as a family hour in the park with cake and balloons. The goal is to put together a
celebration that can be handled effortlessly by your volunteers. That is why we’ve prepared the package.
