Durham Parents of Multiples
The Durham Chapter offers a Parent Information Night held approximately every 2 months for new members and expectant parents. Hosted by parents of multiples and designed for both moms and dads, we will discuss frequently asked questions and common concerns about how to prepare, bringing your babies home, breastfeeding tips, helping siblings adjust and how Durham Parents of Multiples and its volunteers can help. Barrie Parents of Twins & More

The Barrie Chapter offers the only multiple birth prenatal and postnatal information session in the County. This evening, offered four times a year, covers everything you need to know to have a healthy multiple pregnancy and to be prepared for coming home with more than one baby. Information includes nutrition, stress management, doctor's care, recognizing preterm labour and what to do about it, and hospital preparation. It also includes valuable postnatal information including preparation for coming home with your babies discussing equipment and emotional needs, and everything you need to know to successfully breastfeed more than one baby. This evening is offered by parents of multiples who have been where you are and can answer your questions. It is filled with valuable advice, information, and resources for both moms and dads.
