Why we Fundraise:

The Barrie Parents of Twins & More club is a non profit organization supporting parents of multiples. At this time, the family membership dues do not cover all the clubs operating costs. We are working on improving our operating budget, by reducing our communication costs and through donations, sponsorship, and increasing the paid advertising in our newsletters.

Some of the funds we raise go into supporting our operating budget, which is spent on:

bulletCommunications:  new members & prenatal packages, and all communications within the club
bulletSpecial Events: Children's Christmas Party and Children's Summer Picnic

Details on the club Budget & expenditures are published once a year in the Multifacts Newsletter.

Each year the club has made donations to local charities or institutions that are related to multiple births such as:

bulletFamily Sponsorship in the Community through Food Bank & Salvation Army
bulletPreemie, newborn and toddler sleepers to Royal Victoria Hospital - RVH (ongoing)
bulletNewborn weigh scale to the Royal Victoria Hospital (summer 2003)
