Volunteers DPOM is a non-profit run solely by volunteers. Volunteers are always needed to keep the organization running! Think you don’t have enough time to spare? Already overscheduled with kids and work demands? There are many opportunities available that can be managed by busy parents with a very small time commitment! Members - Volunteering is not only personally rewarding but it is also a lot of fun! It’s simple - the more you put into the organization the more you’ll get back. Students – We can help you reach your 40 hours of volunteer work! We accept student volunteers at our semi-annual clothing sales and other family events. If you have ever considered volunteering your time or skills to the club, but weren’t sure where to start, read on! You don’t have to make a big commitment to help the club in a meaningful way! There are many small things you could do that would be a great help. Host a MoM night in your home Come out to a MoM night to support other members Write an article for our newsletter Coordinate one small annual event (Fall Picnic, Mother’s Day) Help with a bigger event (Christmas Party) Help with simple administrative tasks Talk to a local business you frequent to inquire about a discount for our members. Send your leads to our general email address and we will follow up! Sit on the parent panel during a New Member Information Night The list goes on! Help ensure DPOM will be here for those who come after you. We will take any offer of help, no matter how great or small. We will find a job for you that will fit your skills and your time commitment!
